genbutsu

Genchi Genbutsu (現地現物) means roughly "go and see for yourself." 'Gemba' is the place where the action happens. Genchi genbutsu involves going to the gemba to check on the genbutsu--the real things, the real issues, the real facts--because seeing is believing... and you can then take action.
